SAFE BRIDGE OF HELP and ENGAGEMENT

Safe Bridge of Help is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization whose focus is to help and support communities in most desperate parts of Africa and the United States in the areas of Health Care and Education. Over the past years, our caring members sacrificed many resources in order to gather items that have allowed us to help the neediest. The donation of computers and IT equipment to two high schools in Cameroon for the creation of multimedia centers, the donation of medical equipment to 5 hospitals in March 2012 and 7 hospitals in May 2013 in Cameroon, the donation of a tricycle and crutches to a handicapped student in Loum and the sponsoring the education of 6 orphans and a disabled are some the of the recent organization’s accomplishments. Providing schools with multimedia centers is affording many students the opportunity to interact with the computer and the internet for the first time.

Donating medical equipment to hospitals and the National Center for the Rehabilitation of Handicapped Persons is helping struggling health institutions accommodate patients as well as providing disabled people confidence and hope of being part of our society as a whole. Sponsoring the education of 6 orphans and that of a disabled student provides the former with hope for a better future despite their unfortunate situation and the latter the opportunity of being educated in spite of his disability.

A fact-finding visit to the maternity of Mutengene in Cameroon in May, 2011 revealed a desperate facility in an urgent need of help. Safe Bridge of Help has already shipped a container of medical equipment in an attempt to answer some of the pleas from that maternity and elsewhere.

In March, 2012 the CMA was one of the 5 hospitals recipients of our donation of medical equipment. It received electric beds, mattresses, wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, delivery bed and an electric water heater.

We appreciate the kind response of those who have already shown their care for others by helping Safe Bridge of Help make these donations possible. We also wish to express our thanks in advance to the good people who will support us in the future.

God bless you
